We only collect what we need to operate this site and respond to you. Specifically:

• Contact-form submissions — your name, email, company (optional), the service you’re interested in, and the message you write.
• Server logs — IP address, browser user-agent, and timestamps. Used for rate limiting, spam prevention, and security incident response only.
• No cookies for tracking. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics trackers on this website. We do not set cookies for behavioural targeting.
• Product data — each product the studio operates has its own privacy policy. The Chrome-extension products (ClearRec, BulkMD) process data locally in the browser and do not transmit your recordings or markdown to our servers.

• To reply to your inquiry and scope your project.
• To send proposals, milestone updates, and invoices for engaged clients.
• To prevent abuse, spam, and security incidents.
• To comply with applicable Bangladeshi tax and trade law.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use your data to train AI models.

We use a small number of trusted processors to operate the site and our business:

• Contact-form submissions: up to 24 months from the date of submission, then deleted — unless they become part of an active client engagement.
• Active client records: retained for the duration of the engagement plus the statutory period required by Bangladeshi tax law (typically 6 years).
• Server logs: rotated and deleted within 30 days.

You have the right to:

• Know what personal data we hold about you and request a copy.
• Ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Withdraw consent at any time for any processing based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with the appropriate data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

SoftWebGrove operates from Bangladesh and works with founders worldwide. If you are accessing this site from the EU, UK, or US, your data is processed in Bangladesh. We apply the principles of GDPR and similar frameworks regardless of your location: lawful purpose, data minimisation, security, and erasure on request.

We enforce HTTPS site-wide, rate-limit our contact API, and keep our servers and dependencies patched. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe you’ve found a vulnerability please email [email protected].

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect any change. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for 30 days.
